Remote Senior Front End Engineer

Description:

• We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Senior Frontend Engineer to join our growing team.
• You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining complex and innovative user interfaces for our Analytics platform.
• You will be working closely with our product designers, backend engineers, and stakeholders to deliver a seamless and engaging user experience.
• Responsibilities include involvement in high-level architectural decisions regarding frontend infrastructure and technologies.
• You will develop and maintain high-quality frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
• You will translate designs and wireframes into clean, efficient, and reusable React components.
• You will implement complex user interfaces with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Writing comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and stability is expected.
• You will collaborate with backend engineers to integrate with RESTful APIs and other data sources.
• Participation in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to other team members is required.
• Staying up to date with the latest frontend technologies and trends is essential.
• You will contribute to the improvement of our frontend development processes and best practices.
• Mentoring junior developers and sharing your expertise with a strong emphasis on code quality, readability, and documentation is part of the role.

Requirements:

• You must have 4+ years of professional experience in frontend development with a strong focus on React and TypeScript.
• A Computer Science or related Engineering degree is desired.
• You should have the ability to communicate technical details and progress effectively with stakeholders and non-technical teams.
• A deep understanding of the React ecosystem, including component lifecycle, state management (e.g., Redux, Context API), CSS systems (CSS in JS), navigation systems (React Router), and hooks is required.
• You need working knowledge of CICD systems like GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc., and build systems like Webpack, Parcel, Vite, etc.
• Experience developing and building using cloud services like AWS S3 and AWS CloudFront is necessary.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+) is required.
• You should have experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress) is expected.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential.
• A passion for building high-quality user interfaces and delivering exceptional user experiences is a must.
