• Responsibilities include writing quality, maintainable, and testable code, participating in code reviews, and engaging in the agile development process.
• The engineer will recommend tools and techniques to improve the front-end platform and work with the UX team for technical feasibility and visual consistency.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 3-5+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Expertise in HTML5 and CSS is required.
• Strong experience with React.JS and Typescript is essential.
• A solid understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks and related technologies is necessary.
• Experience in writing unit tests and contributing to automated tests using Jest and Playwright is required.
• Candidates should have experience with modern, accessible, and responsive web applications.
• Experience in architecting modular components for code reuse is necessary.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs in a containerized microservice ecosystem is required.
• Proficiency with Git and frontend tooling, including builds, linting, deployment, and testing, is essential.
• Candidates must be able to mediate between UX vision, project scope, and technology performance.
• The ability to develop responsive, cross-browser compatible, and performant code is required.
• Participation in frontend and backend architecture discussions is expected.
• Empathy for users and the ability to create accessible experiences is necessary.
• A track record of quickly picking up new technologies and skills is essential.
