Description:

The Senior Front End Engineer is responsible for creating clean, efficient, standards-compliant HTML, CSS, and JavaScript across a wide range of websites and web applications.
This role involves handling the most complex tasks alongside the Lead and requires minimal assistance when working on large or complex modules or problems.
The engineer is expected to be a self-starter and efficient with front-end technologies.
Responsibilities include taking on any size and complexity of front-end projects, delivering projects on time and on budget, and evaluating frameworks, technologies, and tools for relevance to projects.
The engineer will work closely with team members from various departments and utilize AI development tools to enhance coding efficiency.
Staying current with emerging technologies and tools, including advancements in AI-assisted development, is essential.
The role requires managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and writing the majority of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript based on prototypes and designs.
Collaboration with back-end engineers is necessary to ensure seamless integration of components.
The engineer will maintain and fix bugs across multiple projects and ensure standards are upheld throughout the front-end code.
Responsibilities also include reviewing project documentation, identifying potential project risks, performing smoke tests, and feature development.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years in similar roles and at least 3 years working with React is required.
Candidates should have agency experience and be proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a track record of successful project delivery.
Experience leveraging AI-powered tools like Cursor and GitHub Copilot to accelerate development and maintain high code quality is essential.
A strong understanding of web development standards and best practices is necessary.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git and modern web development tools is required.
Previous experience in developing large-scale websites and web applications is expected.
Technical expertise should include expert knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and experience with SASS, SCSS.
Knowledge of one or more JavaScript frameworks, preferably React, and experience with source control systems (GIT) is required.
Proficiency with AI-enhanced development environments and tools, as well as experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), is necessary.
