Description:

• EnergyHub empowers utilities and their customers to create a clean, distributed energy future.
• The electric vehicles (EV) team enables utility customers to add managed charging programs and EV data programs.
• The role involves designing and implementing software solutions for electric vehicles and energy IoT devices.
• Responsibilities include writing design documents, code, and unit/integration tests.
• The engineer will develop new ways to connect systems to energy markets and improve user experiences for managed charging programs.
• The position requires maintaining and upgrading the React Native mobile application for better driver experiences.
• The engineer will participate in code reviews, group planning, and debugging.
• The role includes contributing to team culture and an inclusive environment.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience is required.
• Recent experience with React and React Native is essential, with a focus on enhancing web and mobile applications.
• A solid understanding of mobile development infrastructure, including familiarity with iOS and Android store requirements, is necessary.
• Strong design sensibilities and the ability to think through user experiences for mobile applications are required.
• Attention to detail in UX implementation, particularly regarding security and accessibility, is important.
• Experience with Typescript is required.
• The candidate should be comfortable working with designers and using design tools like Figma.
