Description:

EnergyHub empowers utilities and their customers to create a clean, distributed energy future.
The electric vehicles (EV) team enables utility customers to add managed charging programs and EV data programs.
The role involves designing and implementing software solutions for electric vehicles and energy IoT devices.
Responsibilities include writing design documents, code, and unit/integration tests.
The engineer will develop new ways to connect systems to energy markets and improve user experiences for managed charging programs.
The position requires maintaining and upgrading the React Native mobile application for better driver experiences.
The engineer will participate in code reviews, group planning, and debugging.
The role includes contributing to team culture and an inclusive environment.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements:

A minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience is required.
Recent experience with React and React Native is essential, with a focus on enhancing web and mobile applications.
A solid understanding of mobile development infrastructure, including familiarity with iOS and Android store requirements, is necessary.
Strong design sensibilities and the ability to think through user experiences for mobile applications are required.
Attention to detail in UX implementation, particularly regarding security and accessibility, is important.
Experience with Typescript is required.
The candidate should be comfortable working with designers and using design tools like Figma.
