HighLevel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Front-End Performance Engineer to join their dynamic development team.
The role involves enhancing the performance, scalability, and user experience of high-traffic and complex applications.
Responsibilities include leading efforts to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in front-end applications.
The candidate will optimize the existing codebase to enhance loading times, responsiveness, and overall user experience.
The position requires contributing to enhancing development processes and coding standards with a focus on performance-oriented practices.
The engineer will design and write well-organized code, independently handling medium to large features.
An in-depth understanding of the assigned codebase, product area, or systems is necessary to initiate and drive necessary changes.
The role involves evaluating and incorporating open-source tools, libraries, and frameworks to boost development efficiency and performance.
Effective collaboration with other teams (Support/Success, Product, Design, Platform Engineering) is essential.
The engineer will provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members in implementing performance optimization best practices.
Active participation in code reviews is expected to ensure code quality and adherence to performance guidelines.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required.
The candidate must have 5+ years of experience in front-end development with a strong focus on performance optimization.
A proven track record of successfully optimizing large-scale and complex web applications is essential.
Proficiency in Vue.js, Webpack, TypeScript, Node.js, and MongoDB is a plus.
A deep understanding of browser rendering behavior, network performance, and caching strategies is necessary.
Experience in leading or mentoring development teams is required.
Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle challenging technical issues are essential.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment are necessary.
Familiarity with open-source software development and contributions is preferred.
Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in front-end development and performance optimization is required.
