Description:

Inkitt is seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer for mobile and web applications, working remotely from Mexico City.
The role involves architecting, building, iterating, and managing the global mobile application, Inkitt, Galatea, and the new app, GalateaTV.
Responsibilities include building and shipping new features with high velocity and quality, collaborating with Product Managers and Designers, and contributing ideas to the product roadmap.
The engineer will drive architecture and technology choices to enhance user experience and explore new technologies to stay ahead in the digital environment.
Staying close to users to understand their needs, collect feedback, and apply it to the work is also a key part of the role.

Requirements:

A degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 7+ years of experience working with large, well-maintained codebases.
Proficiency in JavaScript, React Native, and React is necessary.
Experience mentoring junior developers is a plus.
Familiarity with mobile apps and understanding the release process in App Store/Google Play is advantageous.
