Description:
The Senior Front-End Software Engineer will work on Aircall’s customer-facing product, which includes web applications built with React and Typescript, following in-house design systems and coding conventions.
Responsibilities include adding key features to web applications, enriching the UI library, providing a great developer experience, and collaborating with Product and Design teams to enhance UX.
The role involves building new reusable components for the design system, developing tooling for a more efficient development process, and contributing to a more frontend-friendly GraphQL API.
The front-end stack includes React, TypeScript, Styled components, Apollo, Jest, React Testing Library, Chromatic, Cypress, and a release management process based on Gitlab CI.
The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in front-end development, proficiency in JavaScript, React, and Typescript, experience with state management systems like Redux or Mobx, familiarity with CI/CD processes, and a sensibility for UI/UX.
Bonus points for experience in improving JavaScript performance, working with WebSockets, Local Storage, ES6, or Design Systems.
Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in front-end development.
Experience shipping and maintaining code in production.
Proficiency in JavaScript, with React and Typescript as a bonus.
Ability to write unit and integration tests for code quality assurance.
Familiarity with building scalable state management systems like Redux or Mobx.
Knowledge of CI/CD processes or DevOps/SRE philosophy.
Strong sensibility for UI and UX.
Excellent communication skills in English.
