Remote Senior Front-end Engineer (React or Vue) - Health Care

Description:

• Be a foundational member of a newly formed front-end team, playing a pivotal role in modernizing the platform and building a world-class user experience for healthcare customers.
• Architect, develop, and implement highly performant, scalable, and maintainable front-end applications using modern JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX Designers and Product Managers to translate designs and requirements into intuitive and engaging user interfaces.
• Lead the development of reusable UI components and establish front-end development best practices to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Take ownership of maintaining, expanding, and scaling front-end web applications, ensuring code quality and adherence to established standards.
• Proactively stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and industry trends, sharing knowledge with the team.
• Actively participate in technical and architectural discussions, contributing valuable insights and helping to shape the technology roadmap.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex front-end issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure the quality and reliability of front-end code.
• Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Required: 6+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
• Required: 3+ years of current, in-depth experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks, specifically React AND/OR Vue.js (experience with both is a significant plus).
• Expertise in CSS and styling libraries/frameworks such as Ant Design, Styled Components, or Material UI.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with state management frameworks like Redux, Zustand, or Vuex.
• Experience with prototyping tools such as Figma and Sketch.
• Proven experience with front-end testing libraries such as Cypress, React Testing Library, Jest, and Playwright.
• Deep understanding of RESTful API consumption and integration.
• Experience with version control systems (Git/Github).
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
