Remote Senior Front End Engineer (VueJS)

Description:

• Interworks.cloud is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer to join their R&D team.
• The role involves blending design and functionality using TypeScript, JavaScript, and VueJS.
• As a key member of the R&D team, you will contribute to re-writing the application and developing new features for the Business Support System (BSS) of the interworks.cloud B2B cloud commerce platform.
• The team operates in a scrum environment with 3-week sprints.
• You will be involved in all product stages, from researching business requirements to developing and deploying solutions.
• Responsibilities include creating robust and easy-to-maintain UI components using Vue 3 and TypeScript, contributing to architectural and software design decisions, refactoring existing codebases, and developing new features from scratch.
• You will code with testing in mind, using Jest and Vitest, and collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Product Design, QA, and Cyber Security.
• Additionally, you will contribute to technical documentation and support the back-end team with RESTful APIs built with C#.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate should have approximately 4-5 years of work experience in front-end development using leading web frameworks such as VueJS, React, or Angular.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 is required.
• A strong competence and desire to work in a test-driven environment is essential.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, is necessary.
• Understanding of RESTful API best practices and a willingness to work with C# code is expected.
• A BSc degree in Computer Science or a relevant field is required.
• Bonus points for experience with JavaScript bundlers like Rollup or webpack, implementing security features like CORS, and understanding docker-based applications.
