Remote Senior Front End Software Engineer

Description:

• Copper is seeking a positive, customer-oriented Senior Front-End Engineer to join a product development team focused on adding and enhancing features for their CRM.
• The role involves interacting with client and server engineers, QA engineers, product managers, and user-experience designers.
• The position requires a strong sense of ownership across the software development lifecycle - from definition to delivery and observability.
• This fully-remote role reports to an Engineering Manager and involves collaboration with team members in the US, Canada, and UK.
• The tech stack includes Ember.js, WebExtensions, Ruby on Rails, Postgres, OpenSearch, Redis, and Resque, with the use of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and a web framework like Ember.js, React, or Angular.
• Strong HTML/CSS skills with a focus on UI/UX detail.
• Previous experience as a Senior Software Engineer.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
• Experience working on large, single-page applications.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with remote Engineering and Product teams in North America.
• A mindset of leaving things better than you found them.
