Description:
- Seeking Senior Front-End Engineers (full-time contractors) in South America to assist with growth and expansion.
- Focus on building frontend experiences in React, with familiarity in Ruby on Rails and/or Golang as a plus.
- Engage in a collaborative environment with Product and Design to create customer-centric experiences.
- Active participation in system and solution building discussions.
- Part of Varsity Tutors, a platform under Nerdy, dedicated to transforming learning through technology.
- Utilize CI/CD software lifecycle and services-oriented-architecture hosted in AWS.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in React, Typescript, Node.js, Next.js, with Golang and Ruby on Rails as nice-to-haves.
- Experience with deployment systems like GitHub Actions and AWS CodeDeploy.
- Familiarity with AWS Services such as RDS, Lambda, EC2, etc.
- Understanding of OO design, algorithms, and data structures.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new languages and technologies.
- Previous experience in developing high-traffic websites and improving SEO performance.
- Fluent in English.
- Computer Science or related degree preferred.
