As a Senior Front-End Software Engineer at Bask, you will work directly with the CEO and CTO to build and design the software infrastructure for telehealth.

The serverless platform is built using Next.js, Typescript, and Tailwind, creating a powerful multi-tenant application.

You will design, build, and implement new services through the full development cycle, writing elegant, well-tested code in a modern technology stack.
Your responsibilities will include building libraries and frameworks to enhance efficiency and deliver value to users.
You will collaborate closely with the product team, making architecture and design decisions, participating in stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives, and contributing to the engineering culture focused on simple, intuitive, high-impact experiences.
As an engineering generalist, you will develop servers and databases, integrate APIs, and take end-to-end ownership across the full development lifecycle.
You will have the opportunity to scale and automate existing services while also bringing new innovations to life, contributing to product strategy and development.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a full-stack generalist with experience taking a product from 0 to 1.
Candidates should be entrepreneurial and willing to roll up their sleeves to get the work done, with a passion for disrupting the healthcare industry.
You must be proficient on the frontend of the stack, with strong skills in React, TypeScript, Next.js, JavaScript, Tailwind, and DrizzleORM.
Backend skills in Rust, MySQL, and Node are also required.
You should be able to work independently and be comfortable owning entire projects or large areas of the codebase.
Strong experience in building paid products and services is preferred.
Excellent communication skills are necessary to articulate technical problems, constraints, and timelines clearly.
You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, unstructured startup environment.
