Description:
The Senior Front-End Web Developer will be responsible for building and enhancing Minitab’s global web presence.
They will work closely with the Marketing content team to update sites, release new features, and implement marketing initiatives using Adobe Experience Manager.
The developer will participate in code development for new website features, ensuring security, scalability, and performance.
Responsibilities include maintaining site health, security, and compliance through proactive monitoring and issue resolution.
The role involves collaborating with Marketing Directors to understand requirements and provide technical guidance on implementation.
The developer will also provide technical oversight for front-end and back-end functionality across Minitab’s global web properties.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in front-end engineering, modern Web frameworks, and architecting web site delivery solutions.
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Bootstrap and JQuery.
Experience with at least one CMS platform, with knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager being a bonus.
Understanding of responsive design patterns, mobile performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts to various stakeholders.
Additional desirable qualifications include experience with source control systems, Java, web content management, analytics tools, localization processes, privacy regulations, and design applications.
