Remote Senior Front-End Web Developer

Description:

• The Senior Front-End Web Developer will be responsible for building and enhancing Minitab’s global web presence.
• They will work closely with the Marketing content team to update sites, release new features, and implement marketing initiatives using Adobe Experience Manager.
• The developer will participate in code development for new website features, ensuring security, scalability, and performance.
• Responsibilities include maintaining site health, security, and compliance through proactive monitoring and issue resolution.
• The role involves collaborating with Marketing Directors to understand requirements and provide technical guidance on implementation.
• The developer will also provide technical oversight for front-end and back-end functionality across Minitab’s global web properties.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in front-end engineering, modern Web frameworks, and architecting web site delivery solutions.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Bootstrap and JQuery.
• Experience with at least one CMS platform, with knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager being a bonus.
• Understanding of responsive design patterns, mobile performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts to various stakeholders.
• Additional desirable qualifications include experience with source control systems, Java, web content management, analytics tools, localization processes, privacy regulations, and design applications.
