Remote Senior Frontend Developer

Description:

• Lodgify, a fast-growing company in the vacation rental industry, is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to join their multicultural startup team in Barcelona.
• The role involves maintaining and adding features to the existing Frontend application built with React.
• Responsibilities include implementing new features using technologies like TypeScript, React, SWR, and styled-components.
• Collaborate closely with the product and development team to shape the product, focusing on testing, performance, and code quality.
• Enhance a modern cross-browser compatible application by utilizing the latest Web APIs and features.
• Participate in front-end discussions and propose initiatives to enhance the codebase.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4+ years of experience with React.
• Strong foundations in JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, and CSS.
• Proficient in Git and experience working with mono-repositories.
• Ability to write unit and integration tests, with experience in interaction tests using Storybook or E2E tests using Playwright as a bonus.
• Capable of delivering accessible, mobile-responsive, performant, and scalable solutions.
• Experience collaborating with designers and validating technical feasibility of their ideas.
• Familiarity with Agile Principles (Kanban, Scrum) and working with REST APIs.
• Experience setting up contracts with back-end developers.
