Description:
Zigzag is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their team.
Applicants must be legally allowed to work locally and should be residing in the Philippines.
The role involves building and maintaining web applications using VueJS, Angular, and React.
Responsibilities include working on complex projects and interesting new features.
The engineer will tackle problems on a vast scale, impacting millions of users.
Collaboration with the Design team is essential to enhance user experience (UX) and maintainability.
The position requires leading and designing the front end architecture.
The engineer will improve front end engineering standards and processes.
Leading and guiding technical decisions within the team is a key responsibility.
The role includes contributing technical knowledge to discussions about the direction of web applications.
Mentoring junior engineers and assisting in their growth is also part of the job.
Requirements:
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential due to the distributed team setup.
Experience in building interactive web applications is required.
Proficiency in Vue.js and Pinia is a must.
Thorough knowledge of Angular and React is necessary.
Experience with Git and GitHub is required.
Familiarity with running and using Docker is essential.
Ability to write good Unit and E2E tests in the front end is required.
Experience designing APIs is a nice-to-have.
Experience working with AWS is a nice-to-have.
Interest in tinkering with CI pipelines and GitHub Actions is a nice-to-have.
