Description:
This is a contract position for those based in Brazil, with an initial contract duration of 6 months and strong potential for extension.
Nearform is an independent team of engineers, designers, data experts, and strategists focused on building intelligent digital solutions.
The Senior Frontend Developer will work directly with clients on diverse and impactful projects, leveraging their deep understanding of front-end development.
Responsibilities include supporting component design, development, and maintenance, and ensuring personal technical quality standards within the project team.
The role involves defining structured practices in source code management, building, and deployment, as well as designing and implementing data storage solutions.
The developer will implement security and data protection measures, optimize application performance for speed and scalability, and maintain version control and build processes.
Feedback from users and clients will be gathered to build solutions, and assistance will be provided in analyzing client requirements.
Collaboration with internal and client teams, as well as support for Technical Leaders in project execution and timely delivery, is expected.
Requirements:
Proficient communication in English (oral and written) is required, along with excellent communication skills.
Candidates must have 6+ years of professional experience in software engineering within a high-quality agile environment.
A minimum of 5+ years of professional experience with JavaScript, Typescript, and frontend frameworks such as React and Vue.js is necessary.
Familiarity with state management libraries like Redux, MobX, or Vuex is required.
Experience with design systems and component libraries (e.g., Storybook, Material-UI, Tailwind CSS) is essential.
Candidates should have experience with modern front-end build systems (Webpack, Vite, Babel, Rollup).
Hands-on experience with unit, integration, and E2E testing (Jest, Cypress, Mocha, etc.) is expected.
The ability to work closely with designers and contribute to UI/UX discussions is important.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must.
