The role of Senior Frontend Developer focuses on driving best practices, optimizing performance, and ensuring a scalable, reusable component-based system.
The position requires strong proficiency in Node.js for builds, development, and tooling, alongside expertise in React.js and TypeScript.
A strong understanding of the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) is critical for ensuring high-quality, maintainable code and smooth delivery processes.
Key responsibilities include leading frontend architecture, developing and optimizing React.js applications, ensuring collaboration with the design team, advocating for consistent design tokens, and promoting responsiveness and accessibility.
The developer will also maintain and improve the frontend build and development pipeline using Node.js, work with serverless APIs, and mentor junior developers.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of frontend development experience with strong expertise in React.js and TypeScript.
A deep knowledge of component-based architecture, hooks, and state management best practices is required.
Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, and styling with Material UI (Mui) and JSS are essential.
Experience with frontend performance optimization and best practices is necessary.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and serverless APIs for backend integration is required.
Strong proficiency in Node.js is a must.
Candidates should manage Node.js versions and understand best practices, such as avoiding odd-numbered minor versions.
Command line expertise and comfort working with terminals and developer tooling are needed.
Understanding and maintaining build processes and development workflows is essential.
Experience with Git, Webpack, Babel, and CI/CD pipelines is required.
Exposure to Leaflet.js or GIS technologies is a plus but not mandatory.
A strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices is necessary.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.
Candidates must be ready to work in shifts from 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM IST, Monday to Friday.
