  • The role of Senior Frontend Developer focuses on driving best practices, optimizing performance, and ensuring a scalable, reusable component-based system.
  • The position requires strong proficiency in Node.js for builds, development, and tooling, alongside expertise in React.js and TypeScript.
  • A strong understanding of the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) is critical for ensuring high-quality, maintainable code and smooth delivery processes.
  • Key responsibilities include leading frontend architecture, developing and optimizing React.js applications, ensuring collaboration with the design team, advocating for consistent design tokens, and promoting responsiveness and accessibility.
  • The developer will also maintain and improve the frontend build and development pipeline using Node.js, work with serverless APIs, and mentor junior developers.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 5+ years of frontend development experience with strong expertise in React.js and TypeScript.
  • A deep knowledge of component-based architecture, hooks, and state management best practices is required.
  • Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, and styling with Material UI (Mui) and JSS are essential.
  • Experience with frontend performance optimization and best practices is necessary.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and serverless APIs for backend integration is required.
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js is a must.
  • Candidates should manage Node.js versions and understand best practices, such as avoiding odd-numbered minor versions.
  • Command line expertise and comfort working with terminals and developer tooling are needed.
  • Understanding and maintaining build processes and development workflows is essential.
  • Experience with Git, Webpack, Babel, and CI/CD pipelines is required.
  • Exposure to Leaflet.js or GIS technologies is a plus but not mandatory.
  • A strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices is necessary.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.
  • Candidates must be ready to work in shifts from 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM IST, Monday to Friday.
