Description:

  • Join Wordly's fast-growing global team as a senior frontend engineer.
  • Implement user experiences that delight end-users and facilitate the use of Wordly’s real-time translation features.
  • Modify existing user experiences, create new user experiences within existing applications, or develop new applications from scratch.
  • Work as an individual contributor or lead a small frontend engineering team to deliver solutions that meet product requirements.
  • Plan the technical work necessary to achieve objectives and execute the plan hands-on.
  • Provide valuable experience to guide Wordly’s engineering processes to ensure high-quality software production.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in architecting, implementing, and delivering frontend solutions from product requirements.
  • At least 2 years of experience in leading software development work in some capacity.
  • A deep understanding of the Angular framework and the React library, including common React development patterns.
  • Experience with React-based frameworks such as Next.js and Vue.
  • Expert knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Proficient in using the Git version control system.
  • Ability and willingness to mentor other frontend engineers.
  • Comfortable working with a fully remote team.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
