Remote Senior Frontend Engineer at PadSplit

Description:

Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks like React or Angular.
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliverable features.
Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and maintainable code standards are upheld across the team.
Optimize application performance and address any technical issues or bugs that arise.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers within the pod, fostering their growth and development.
Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings to align on priorities and progress.
Implement and maintain automated testing to ensure code reliability and quality.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and integrate them into the development process when appropriate.

Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with experience in responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
Experience with version control systems like Git and collaborative development workflows.
Solid grasp of frontend build tools and package managers, such as Webpack, Babel, npm, or Yarn.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for web applications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues.
Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior developers.

Competitive salary range of $70,000 - $100,000 a year.
