Description:

Doxel is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their 3D Visualization team in the San Francisco Bay Area, with options for remote work.
The role involves building high-performance interfaces that render complex 3D data and integrate with DuckDB in the browser.
Responsibilities include optimizing rendering, responsiveness, and interaction performance for field usability, while upholding high standards for code quality, test coverage, and maintainability.
The engineer will collaborate closely with design, backend, and data science teams, focusing on creating intuitive tools for end users.
The position requires a systems thinker who is passionate about performance, memory efficiency, and creating impactful software.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience building production frontend systems in data-rich environments.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or similar is required.
Experience with 3D frameworks like Three.js or Babylon.js is essential.
A solid understanding of performance optimization, rendering pipelines, and client-side state management is necessary.
Candidates should possess a sharp product sense and a strong desire to build fast and useful software.
Bonus qualifications include experience with WebAssembly (Wasm), DuckDB, or backend tools such as Rust, SQL, Python, or C++.
