Description:

  • Employment Hero is seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to contribute to creating new products and enhancing existing ones in the HR, payroll, and benefits management software.
  • The role involves using technologies like ReactJS, React Native, AWS Cloud, EC2, and Kubernetes to develop critical features.
  • Responsibilities include participating in sprint planning, developing frontend code, ensuring code quality through testing and reviews, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with a high-performing squad.
  • The position offers opportunities to work across various streams/squads within the company and encourages continuous learning and growth.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate should have over 6 years of experience in frontend software development and expertise in web application performance tuning, ReactJS/Redux applications.
  • Proficiency in Javascript/Typescript, ReactJS/Redux, building tools like Webpack, Rollup, ViteJS, and CI/CD is required.
  • Strong English communication skills, experience with full-stack web technologies, knowledge of Software Engineering processes, Testing, and Agile methodology are essential.
  • A team player with adaptability, a passion for learning and sharing knowledge, and the ability to translate design wireframes into UI components is sought after.
  • Additional experience in mobile application development, unit testing, functional programming, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering are advantageous.
