Remote Senior Frontend Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Frontend Engineer position at Cognigy involves leading the development of responsive, interactive, and scalable web applications using Vue.js or React with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Collaborating with backend developers to create seamless and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimizing applications for maximum scalability and speed.
• Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and industry standards.
• Mentoring and guiding junior developers, providing code reviews and technical direction.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, integrating them into development processes.
• Debugging and resolving technical issues to ensure a smooth and reliable user experience.
• Participating in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of development workflows and processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Proficiency in Vue.js or React with a strong understanding of their ecosystems.
• Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, with experience in building responsive and accessible web applications.
• Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Vuex, Redux) and modern frontend build tools (e.g., Vite, Webpack).
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and great attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha) and end-to-end testing tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium) is a plus.
• Familiarity with backend technologies and APIs is a plus.
• Open to various programming languages and willing to learn continuously.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
