Description:
The Senior Frontend Engineer position at Cognigy involves leading the development of responsive, interactive, and scalable web applications using Vue.js or React with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Collaborating with backend developers to create seamless and visually appealing user interfaces.
Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimizing applications for maximum scalability and speed.
Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and industry standards.
Mentoring and guiding junior developers, providing code reviews and technical direction.
Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, integrating them into development processes.
Debugging and resolving technical issues to ensure a smooth and reliable user experience.
Participating in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of development workflows and processes.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in frontend development.
Proficiency in Vue.js or React with a strong understanding of their ecosystems.
Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, with experience in building responsive and accessible web applications.
Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Vuex, Redux) and modern frontend build tools (e.g., Vite, Webpack).
Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and great attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha) and end-to-end testing tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium) is a plus.
Familiarity with backend technologies and APIs is a plus.
Open to various programming languages and willing to learn continuously.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
