Remote Senior Frontend Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Frontend Engineer position at Union involves working on AI infrastructure to enable high-velocity iteration while maintaining seamless production-readiness for AI workloads at scale.
• The role requires utilizing React and TypeScript skills to write high-quality, scalable, maintainable code for both closed and open-source projects.
• Responsibilities include developing new features, working with frameworks like MUI and ReactFlow, collaborating with cross-functional teams, contributing to architectural decisions, and building relationships with backend engineering teams.
• The position also involves working directly with customers to debug and resolve issues.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have 7+ years of experience building modern web applications professionally.
• Prior experience in leading or mentoring a team is required, along with familiarity with data structures, algorithms, profiling, and optimization.
• Strong value for code simplicity, performance, and attention to detail is essential.
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript or JavaScript, and experience with front-end build tools like Webpack or Vite are necessary.
• Bonus skills include experience with NextJS, NodeJS, protobufjs, Python, and knowledge of ML concepts and frameworks.
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience is required.
