Description:
Hudl is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their Front-End Platform team, which accelerates web development for over 400 product team members and enhances the web experience for more than 8 million customers.
The role involves developing and expanding Hudl’s front-end platform, ensuring it is robust, performant, maintainable, scalable, accessible, and secure.
Responsibilities include building front-end infrastructure using AWS and Terraform, setting up CDNs for Jamstack applications, and maintaining server-side rendering infrastructure.
The engineer will serve as a consultant, supporting teams with front-end work by answering questions, reviewing pull requests, participating in design reviews, and providing feedback on project plans.
The position is open to candidates near the London office or those who can work remotely within the UK.
Requirements:
Candidates must have extensive experience in front-end development using TypeScript and React, and have either led or played a key role in developing large-scale web applications.
Strong knowledge of design systems is required to ensure a consistent, intuitive, and accessible user experience.
Applicants should possess strong AWS and Terraform experience to mentor the team in expanding its Jamstack environment and server-side rendering infrastructure.
Effective communication skills are essential, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly in both verbal and written forms.
