Description:

  • Webflow is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join the Access Control team and contribute to enabling the engineering team to work more efficiently in achieving the mission of providing visual development superpowers to all users.
  • The role is full-time, permanent, and remote-first for candidates in the United States and specific regions in Canada.
  • The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining shared services and user interfaces related to access control, permission capabilities, and other permission management aspects of the system.
  • Collaboration with various team members including software engineers, product managers, designers, and QA analysts is essential.
  • The position involves identifying, developing, and documenting features for internal and external access control systems, as well as solving technical problems within the platform.
  • Improving planning, development, and deployment processes, mentoring team members, and driving projects to business impact are key responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and deploying web applications with a track record of successful market launches.
  • An interest in the Web Platform, visual development, software frameworks, and building platforms for customers is essential.
  • Proficiency in Node.js, React, TypeScript, GraphQL, framework development, component development, and server-rendering complex React applications at scale is required.
  • Strong organization and communication skills, along with experience in innovating solutions within existing systems, are necessary.
  • Ability to debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack, take ownership of projects, and work in an agile environment are important.
  • Experience with TypeScript and comfort in an agile, safe-to-fail environment are preferred.
