Description:
Roofr is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to contribute to building the most trusted roofing platform in the world.
The role involves working in a fast-paced cross-functional team that values doing things 'the right way'.
Responsibilities include contributing to all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle, collaborating with team members to develop technical requirements, writing clean code for web applications, and supporting production applications.
The Engineer will help drive frontend architecture, participate in an early-stage company with an engineering-first culture, and write unit, functional, and acceptance tests.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience as a Senior Engineer, 5+ years of software development experience, and a track record of breaking down complex problems into incremental solutions.
They should be proficient in agile methodologies, have excellent communication skills, and be experienced with JavaScript, React + Redux framework, SCSS, RESTful APIs, and frontend testing and automation systems.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience holding a Senior Engineering title.
5+ years of software development experience.
Champion of agile methodologies, shipping code often and confidently.
Track record of breaking down complex problems into incremental solutions.
Proactively recommends initiatives to improve engineering technologies and culture.
Collaborative team player who takes ownership of the product and values good documentation.
Experience with JavaScript, React + Redux framework, SCSS, RESTful APIs, and frontend testing and automation systems.
