Description:

  • Roofr is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to contribute to building the most trusted roofing platform in the world.
  • The role involves working in a fast-paced cross-functional team that values doing things 'the right way'.
  • Responsibilities include contributing to all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle, collaborating with team members to develop technical requirements, writing clean code for web applications, and supporting production applications.
  • The Engineer will help drive frontend architecture, participate in an early-stage company with an engineering-first culture, and write unit, functional, and acceptance tests.
  • The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience as a Senior Engineer, 5+ years of software development experience, and a track record of breaking down complex problems into incremental solutions.
  • They should be proficient in agile methodologies, have excellent communication skills, and be experienced with JavaScript, React + Redux framework, SCSS, RESTful APIs, and frontend testing and automation systems.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience holding a Senior Engineering title.
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Champion of agile methodologies, shipping code often and confidently.
  • Track record of breaking down complex problems into incremental solutions.
  • Proactively recommends initiatives to improve engineering technologies and culture.
  • Collaborative team player who takes ownership of the product and values good documentation.
  • Experience with JavaScript, React + Redux framework, SCSS, RESTful APIs, and frontend testing and automation systems.
