Description:
- Reddit is seeking a skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to join the Ads Formats team, responsible for building and developing ad formats to enhance user experiences aligned with advertisers' marketing goals.
- The team focuses on creating new ad formats, enabling formats on various surfaces/placements, establishing product market fit, iterating based on advertiser needs, and building infrastructure for faster iteration.
- Responsibilities include developing new ad formats from prototyping to launch, improving technical foundations for ad formats, and collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams.
- Technologies used include Typescript, Go, Python, React, Thrift, gRPC, Postgres, DynamoDB, BigQuery, Kubernetes, Argo, and Docker.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in frontend engineering with a minimum of 3 years of software development experience.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and a willingness to tackle challenges in creating data-intensive, highly responsive, and fault-tolerant apps.
- Openness to exploring innovative software development approaches and willingness to work full stack when necessary.
