Description:
Storyteq is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer with expertise in Angular to join their development team.
The role can be performed remotely from the UK, Spain, Portugal, Italy, or the Netherlands, provided the candidate is eligible to live and work in the respective country.
The engineer will be responsible for building new features and technological innovations in Angular as part of a development team.
Responsibilities include understanding and defining the architecture of the product, as well as challenging team members to continuously improve both themselves and the product.
The team operates in sprints, focusing on a combination of product roadmap features and technology input to keep the product modern and on track.
Requirements:
Candidates must have extensive experience with Angular or another modern JavaScript framework.
Experience in building a SaaS (Software as a Service) product is required.
Proficiency in writing automated tests using tools such as Jest, Karma, Jasmine, or Mocha is necessary.
Demonstrable experience in software development is essential.
A solid understanding of core web and browser concepts is required.
Candidates should have a strong grasp of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.
A deep understanding of consuming APIs is necessary.
Candidates must be proactive, result-driven, and excited to work in a fast-growing tech scale-up.
Being a team player and enjoying collaborative work to achieve goals is essential.
Nice to have: Experience with Micro frontend architectures, GraphQL APIs, writing e2e tests with Cypress, and familiarity with cloud-native technologies related to frontend code.
