Description:

  • Storyteq is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer with expertise in Angular to join their development team.
  • The role can be performed remotely from the UK, Spain, Portugal, Italy, or the Netherlands, provided the candidate is eligible to live and work in the respective country.
  • The engineer will be responsible for building new features and technological innovations in Angular as part of a development team.
  • Responsibilities include understanding and defining the architecture of the product, as well as challenging team members to continuously improve both themselves and the product.
  • The team operates in sprints, focusing on a combination of product roadmap features and technology input to keep the product modern and on track.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have extensive experience with Angular or another modern JavaScript framework.
  • Experience in building a SaaS (Software as a Service) product is required.
  • Proficiency in writing automated tests using tools such as Jest, Karma, Jasmine, or Mocha is necessary.
  • Demonstrable experience in software development is essential.
  • A solid understanding of core web and browser concepts is required.
  • Candidates should have a strong grasp of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.
  • A deep understanding of consuming APIs is necessary.
  • Candidates must be proactive, result-driven, and excited to work in a fast-growing tech scale-up.
  • Being a team player and enjoying collaborative work to achieve goals is essential.
  • Nice to have: Experience with Micro frontend architectures, GraphQL APIs, writing e2e tests with Cypress, and familiarity with cloud-native technologies related to frontend code.
