Remote Senior Frontend Engineer - Brand Application - Remote across ANZ

Description:

• The Senior Frontend Engineer will be responsible for delivering critical front-end services and features to enhance the on-brand experience for all Canva users.
• They will collaborate with other Frontend Engineers to drive best practices and improve the user experience for Brand in Canva.
• The role will involve working with product designers and founders to enhance functionality in Canva's design editor and creative elements.
• Responsibilities include building efficient front-end abstractions, addressing performance bottlenecks, participating in design and code reviews, and empowering other engineers.
• Key skills required include strong knowledge of JavaScript and web technologies, experience with React, TypeScript, MobX, collaborating with designers, providing technical expertise to other teams, and computer science fundamentals.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and web technologies (HTML/CSS).
• Experience with React or similar frontend framework.
• Experience with TypeScript and MobX (or other state management libraries).
• Ability to collaborate effectively with designers and provide technical expertise to other teams.
• Participation in design and code reviews.
• Strong computer science fundamentals.
