Description:

• The Senior Frontend Engineer position at Wristcheck involves working collaboratively with the Engineering team to develop, test, and debug responsive web and mobile applications for an e-commerce marketplace platform.

• This is a fully remote position with the potential for future hybrid or on-site work in Manila, requiring candidates to work local hours.
• Specific tasks include supporting the development of web and mobile applications using React, Node.js, Typescript, and React Native, writing maintainable code, collaborating with developers and designers, troubleshooting technical issues, and enhancing existing applications.
• The role also involves supporting business and operational teams to grow the e-commerce platform and participating in code reviews to ensure coding standards are met.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in developing complex frontend web applications, preferably for a marketplace or e-commerce platform.
• Proficiency in React, Node.js, and Typescript, with a strong preference for React Native knowledge.
• Understanding of web design principles and the ability to translate Figma designs into clean and reusable code.
• Independent, proactive, and capable of delivering production-ready code with minimal guidance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to collaborate effectively with engineers, product managers, and designers.
• Demonstrated eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
