Remote Senior Frontend Engineer, Core Engineering at Splice

Description:

The Senior Frontend Engineer for the Core Engineering team at Splice will be responsible for expanding the user base and enhancing the user experience for both new and existing users.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams like marketing and product management to drive user acquisition, develop products for new markets, and improve front-end experience.
Work closely with data scientists and data engineers to facilitate rapid experimentation while maintaining high data quality.
Contribute creatively to problem-solving and identifying opportunities within the product engineering team.
Stay updated on the latest technologies, best practices, and industry trends in software development.

Deep understanding of web fundamentals including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM APIs, accessibility, and browser networking.
Proficiency in working from wireframes and prototype designs to create interactive user experiences.
Familiarity with frontend frameworks like Svelte or Angular and the ability to assess tradeoffs between frameworks.
Experience in collaborating with marketers and data scientists to conduct valid A/B tests and experiments.
Ability to implement and maintain experimentation, marketing, and analytics systems like Braze, LaunchDarkly, Segment, etc.
Strong skills in producing clear and concise technical documents.
Excellent communication, organizational skills, and a user-centric mindset.
Proven track record of mentoring and coaching early-career engineers in personal development and business impact.

Competitive national pay range of $152,500 - $165,000 for this role.
