Remote Senior Frontend Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Frontend Engineer position at Latch involves designing and implementing robust, efficient, and scalable frontend applications while following best practices in web development.
• Responsibilities include leading and mentoring junior frontend engineers, ensuring high code quality, collaborating with UI/UX designers, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, and working closely with backend engineers, product managers, and designers.
• The role also requires supporting technical emergency requests and providing timely responses to alerts.

Requirements:

• The candidate should have at least 10 years of experience working with Frontend technologies.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript is mandatory.
• Experience with React, Angular, JSX, and CSS pre-processors like Sass is desired.
• Understanding of JS packaging/build systems such as Webpack, Esbuild, Parcel/swc, Rollup, etc., is necessary.
• Excellent English communication skills are a must.
• Nice to have experience includes working with Webflow and Shopify.
