Description:

Photoroom is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Web Frontend Engineer, specializing in frontend architecture, to join their team.
The role involves designing and implementing a scalable, high-performance web application that delivers exceptional user experiences.
The engineer will work with technologies such as Typescript, React.js, MobX, Canvas, TailwindCSS, Turborepo, Vite, Playwright, and Web Performance.
Responsibilities include architecting and developing a scalable web application, managing application state with MobX, collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing web application performance, and staying updated with emerging frontend technologies.
The position is remote-friendly and part of a small multicultural team of approximately 80 members.

Requirements:

Proven experience in architecting and developing large-scale web applications, such as SaaS platforms that have scaled to millions of users and/or tens of developers.
In-depth knowledge of React.js and a strong understanding of component-based architecture.
Expertise with state management using MobX or a good knowledge of the observer pattern.
Good communication skills to effectively gather information from stakeholders and showcase work.
Autonomy, pragmatism, and a preference for speed of iteration over perfection.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to break complex technical challenges into smaller tasks and deliver them.
