Remote Senior Frontend Engineer, Grafana DataViz (Remote, Canada EST)

Description:

• The Senior Frontend Engineer will be part of the DataViz squad within the Frontend Team at Grafana, responsible for visualizing data in Grafana panels like Histogram, Time series, Geomap, and Canvas.
• The mission is to ensure data visualization is useful, performant, and aesthetically pleasing for Grafana users to make informed decisions with their data.
• The ideal candidate should have experience as a front-end developer, be comfortable working remotely, and possess skills in data transformation and visualization tools like SQL, Pivot Tables, D3.js, Matplotlib, or Jupyter Notebooks.
• Understanding a user-centered software development process, transforming ideas into working code, and clear communication of design decisions are essential for this role.
• The candidate should have an interest in observability pillars (Metrics, Logs, and Traces) and be familiar with on-call responsibilities and operations tasks.
