Remote Senior Frontend Engineer (Internal Platform)

Description:

• Xello is seeking a Senior Front-End Software Engineer to join the Internal Platform Team.
• The role involves writing clean, efficient code in TypeScript and SCSS, building reusable components and libraries, and optimizing performance for various devices and browsers.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with designers, integrating design software like Figma, debugging and resolving issues, and working closely with back-end engineers.
• The position also entails maintaining software quality, mentoring junior engineers, and staying updated on industry trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on front-end development.
• 2+ years of experience with design systems and a strong understanding of JavaScript frameworks, preferably Angular.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, CSS, SCSS, web components, REST, and back-end integration.
• Knowledge of JavaScript ES6, Git, design software like Figma, and accessibility standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
• Experience with micro-front-ends, responsive CSS, testing frameworks, and making technical tradeoffs.
• Familiarity with security practices, RxJS, CI/CD pipelines, and mentoring developers.
