Description:
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Engineering team.
The main office is in Paris, but the team is distributed with members working remotely across Europe and the Americas.
You will leverage your experience in building and maintaining complex front-end applications to drive the development of user-facing web applications built with React.
The role ensures high performance, excellent user experience, and strong maintainability.
You will join the PMP (Preference Management Platform) team, responsible for one of Didomi’s core products that helps organizations collect, manage, and activate user preferences and consent across all touchpoints.
The platform empowers businesses to offer personalized, privacy-conscious experiences while ensuring compliance with regulations like GDPR, CCPA, and other global privacy laws.
Responsibilities include collaborating with designers and developers to ship new features, overseeing the overall architecture of web applications, ensuring proper testing and structure, sharing knowledge of software development principles, and continuously learning new technologies.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience with solid knowledge of JavaScript and Typescript is required.
Experience with modern JavaScript and Typescript tooling and libraries is necessary.
Proficiency in front-end applications like React or similar frameworks is essential.
A quality-oriented mindset focusing on testing, code reviews, and code quality is expected.
Awareness of performance considerations is important.
A passion for writing simple, maintainable, and readable code that balances pragmatism and performance is required.
Bonus points for experience with micro-frontends architecture, micro-services architecture, and Custom Elements / Web Components.
