Description:
The company parcelLab is seeking a full-time Senior Frontend Engineer to join their Product Engineering team in Munich, Bavaria.
The role involves building client-side web applications for pre-checkout, delivery, and returns experiences for over 550 leading brands globally.
The position offers the flexibility to work either from the Munich office or remotely within Germany.
Responsibilities include enhancing user experience through developing next-generation web applications, leading technical delivery, ensuring high-quality production code, mentoring mid-level engineers, and promoting good engineering practices.
The Senior Frontend Engineer will actively participate in technical decision-making, represent the team in discussions impacting the Engineering department, and shape product usability in a user-centric manner.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
Strong experience in modern front-end development, with additional experience in back-end or full-stack development being a plus.
Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks and tools like ReactJS, TailwindCSS, accessibility, automated testing (E2E/Unit), and TypeScript.
Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders, explain trade-offs of different product and technical decisions, and craft intuitive user interfaces with an agile mindset.
Willingness to learn new technologies, as the company is growing and evolving, and does not expect candidates to have experience in all required technologies.
