Description:
Bird is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer (React) to work remotely from Spain, Portugal, or the Netherlands within the Central European Timezone.
The role involves designing and implementing customer-facing services on the CRM platform, focusing on products like Inbox, Flow Builder, Customer dashboard, and Bird.com.
The engineer will collaborate with designers to bring designs to life, maintain front-end code, ensure performance standards, and stay updated on the latest tools and libraries.
The position requires 6+ years of experience, expertise in React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, as well as working with modern APIs, Golang, PHP, REST, and GraphQL interfaces.
Other requirements include a strong product mindset, debugging skills, knowledge of browser functionality, experience with Jest, Cypress, Snowpack, Babel, Webpack, Git, and a quality-driven mindset.
The role involves setting up complex frontend applications, creating proof of concepts, and maintaining high coding standards.
Requirements:
6+ years of experience in a relevant role.
Extensive knowledge of React, JavaScript, TypeScript, modern HTML, and CSS.
Comfortable working with modern APIs, Golang, PHP, REST, and GraphQL interfaces.
Strong product mindset and experience in product-based companies.
Excellent debugging and investigative skills.
Firm understanding of browser functionality.
Quality-driven mindset and experience with Jest and Cypress.
Experience with setting up complex frontend applications and build infrastructure using Snowpack, Babel, Webpack.
Deep knowledge of Git.
Ability to create proof of concepts and maintain high coding standards.
