The Justride platform is utilized in over 250 locations worldwide, including major cities.
The role is for a Front-End Javascript developer with experience in core web technologies and modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly Vue.
The Justride team is responsible for developing and maintaining web applications that process over $1 billion in transactions annually, emphasizing security and fraud mitigation.
The team ensures high standards through comprehensive testing and refactoring to adhere to the latest standards and best practices.
The position involves working within a cross-discipline team to deliver robust and reusable components, contributing to code reviews, knowledge sharing, mentoring, and technical road-mapping.
This role is fully remote and available in Romania.
Requirements:
A good command of the English language is required, with the ability to communicate clearly in both written and spoken forms.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript is essential.
Experience with JavaScript component frameworks like Vue and Angular is required.
A strong understanding of web standards, accessibility, and usability, including WCAG AA-Level compliance, is necessary.
Experience with client-side bundlers such as Vite, Webpack, or Rollup is required.
Commitment to engaging within an active engineering community focused on improving development experiences is essential.
Ability to make pragmatic decisions and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences is necessary.
The candidate should be approachable, patient, and an excellent communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment.
A passion for maintaining technical quality and user-centered design is required.
The candidate should champion best practices across the software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, builds, automated testing, and operations.
Nice to have: Experience with hybrid web and mobile app development using Capacitor.JS, React Native, or similar technologies, familiarity with native mobile technologies for iOS and Android, and experience with other programming languages like Java, Kotlin, or Swift.
