The company is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to work remotely from Portugal.
The role involves developing and enhancing user-facing aspects of the product within the End User Experience cluster.
Responsibilities include collaborating with various teams to design and implement new features, optimizing the frontend experience, and ensuring seamless performance for end users.
The engineer will develop and implement features for the consumer-facing web application, ensuring high performance and a seamless user experience.
The role requires troubleshooting, debugging, and providing ongoing support for both internal and customer-facing technical issues.
The engineer will maintain and optimize the development environment to enhance team efficiency and contribute to process improvements.
Active participation in code reviews and mentoring junior engineers is expected to foster a collaborative environment.
Requirements:
Candidates must have proven experience in developing commercial software products, preferably in a SaaS environment.
Strong proficiency in frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript is required.
Hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React and Redux is necessary.
A solid understanding of web infrastructure, HTTP, and RESTful APIs is essential.
Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) best practices and familiarity with SOLID principles and Clean Code methodologies is required.
Experience with unit testing and end-to-end (E2E) testing is necessary.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git, and build and bug tracking systems such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Jira is expected.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented mindset are essential.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are required.
The ability to work collaboratively within a team and proactively contribute to projects is necessary.
