Remote Senior Frontend Engineer, Safety Tools

Description:

• Reddit is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join the Safety Tools team, responsible for protecting moderators and communities from bad actors.
• The team focuses on building innovative solutions using ML models and user insights to ensure high-quality and safe user experiences.
• The role involves collaborating with partner teams, delivering high-quality UI components, solving design and product challenges, and contributing to the full development cycle.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer, proficiency in React, and exposure to GraphQL, Golang, or Python.
• They should be entrepreneurial, self-directed, able to communicate complex topics effectively, and comfortable with ambiguous problems.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of industry experience as a Software Engineer developing production code.
• Proficiency in React is preferred.
• Experience in GraphQL, Golang, or Python is a plus.
• Familiarity with design patterns of large web applications, APIs, data pipelines, and algorithms.
• Ability to work independently, communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, and solve undefined problems.
