Description:

  • Join the Growth team at Remote, responsible for developing and maintaining the public-facing website.
  • Work with React and Next.js on the frontend, Elixir and Phoenix on the backend, and Postgres as the database.
  • Conduct performance audits, implement SEO best practices, and optimize frontend performance for search engine rankings and user experience.
  • Stay updated on latest trends in frontend development, SEO, and performance optimization.
  • Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional development teams.
  • Fully remote position with no relocation required.
  • Deploy multiple times per day using GitLab for version control and CI/CD solutions on AWS.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Frontend Engineer with a focus on building, shipping, and maintaining feature-rich software projects.
  • Proficiency in React, Next.js, JavaScript, semantic HTML, and CSS.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, web performance optimization techniques, and third-party API interactions.
  • Ability to work independently, handle ambiguity, and transform abstract concepts into working software.
  • Experience working with Sales and Marketing teams is a plus.
  • Curiosity, willingness to learn, and develop professionally.
