Description:
Truelogic is a leading provider of nearshore staff augmentation services, located in New York, with a team of 500 tech talents driving digital disruption from Latin America to U.S. companies.
The company is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer (Vue) to work remotely from anywhere in LATAM.
The role involves working in a forward-thinking environment at the largest wholesale marketplace in the cannabis industry, providing licensed dispensaries the ability to order from their favorite brands.
The client processes and manages over $3 billion in wholesale cannabis orders annually and has been recognized as one of Built In NYC's ‘Best Places to Work in 2021’ and Fast Company’s ’Top 10 Most Innovative Companies in Enterprise for 2020’.
Responsibilities include leveraging the latest API to build modern single-page Vue.js apps, supporting existing platforms, leading by example, collaborating with the UX team, optimizing performance, making critical software design decisions, and mentoring other staff.
The role requires troubleshooting and resolving issues, advocating for modern technologies, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, and delivering high-quality UI/UX experiences.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience working with rich, complex front-end user experiences using VueJS.
A proven track record of practical and thoughtful problem-solving is essential.
Experience with high-traffic, international systems is required.
Extensive knowledge of HTML and modern JavaScript frameworks is necessary.
Candidates should have a deep understanding of CSS, including preprocessors.
Experience in agile environments and with highly responsive web applications is important.
Familiarity with state-management libraries such as Redux, Vuex, or Mobx is required.
Advanced experience with client-side unit testing and associated tools like Jest, Sinon, and Chai is necessary.
An interest in the cannabis industry is preferred.
