Description:

Kong is expanding the UI Engineering team and is looking for a highly talented Senior JavaScript (Vue/Nuxt) engineer.
The role involves creating scalable, robust, responsive, and accessible user interfaces and component packages for applications.
Responsibilities include taking the Konnect and developer portal application to the next level.
The engineer will collaborate closely with other frontend engineers and the product team to deliver scalable components and frontend solutions.
The position requires a strong focus on user experience and attention to detail for pixel perfection.
The engineer will build UI component systems, collaborate with design, and improve the architecture of the frontend application.
Writing tests (component, regression, smoke) using Cypress and Vitest with great code coverage is also part of the role.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of professional experience with Vue/Nuxt and TypeScript.
A minimum of 5+ years of experience building SaaS web applications and web developer tools using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required.
A deep understanding of UI/UX principles and user/developer experience is essential.
Candidates should have a working understanding of mono repos and micro-frontends.
Good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions is necessary.
The ability to design and build features from limited specifications without day-to-day input is required.
A great understanding of CI/CD and GitHub Actions is needed.
Candidates must be able to learn new systems and languages quickly and own projects while communicating effectively with stakeholders.
