Orum is an AI-driven, live conversation platform that enhances sales efficiency and lowers customer acquisition costs for companies of all sizes.
The Senior Frontend Engineer will work closely with design, product, and engineering teams to build scalable and visually engaging frontend features.
Responsibilities include owning frontend features from conception to implementation, contributing to design systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
The current technology stack includes Node.JS with Typescript, Ruby, Postgres, Google Cloud Platform, FreeSWITCH, and React on the frontend.
Candidates must be based in Canada, as this position is not open to other countries at this time.
The salary range for this position is $165,000 - $190,000 CAD, depending on experience.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of professional experience in frontend or full-stack development, ideally with feature ownership.
Experience with design systems is required, ensuring seamless visual and interactive experiences.
A deep understanding of CSS and the ability to write scalable and sustainable CSS frameworks is necessary.
Fluency with a mainstream JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Vue, Angular, Svelte) is essential.
A passion for visual design and a commitment to raising the bar on execution across the team is expected.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are required, along with a desire to mentor and learn from others.
Nice to have: experience with accessible UX, familiarity with open-source contributions, and strong fluency in Typescript or Javascript.
