Remote Senior Full Stack Developer

Description:

• The Senior Full Stack Developer at Ascend Analytics will be part of a team working on software solutions and analytics to support the clean-tech power revolution.
• Responsibilities include designing and writing clean, scalable production code in C# and JavaScript, refactoring code for improved performance, stability, and scalability, developing automatic tests and deployment scripts, implementing systems for data collection and storage, integrating prototype mathematical and data science models into production software, and communicating effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• The position involves mentoring junior engineers, contributing to scoping and design discussions, and collaborating with various teams within the organization.
• The software development team follows an agile scrum process, and team members are expected to participate in technical design reviews, implementation strategies, operational system support, and sprint planning.

Requirements:

• A BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Data/Information Science, Mathematics, or a related field is required.
• Candidates should have 8+ years of hands-on experience in a similar position.
• Demonstrated coding experience in languages like Python, Ruby, .NET, Java, C++, C#, Kotlin, Rust, or JavaScript, including object-oriented design, is necessary.
• Experience with DevOps best practices, version control, API development, React UI Framework or equivalent, client-facing applications, relational databases, and major cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) is essential.

Benefits:

• The compensation for the position is $120,000 - $140,000, negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
