Remote Senior Full Stack Developer

Description:

• The company is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to contribute to the development of their first product, which enhances the interaction between police departments and community services.
• The role involves writing web application software using React and Python (Django), building and fine-tuning Elasticsearch queries, and writing unit and integration tests.
• The developer will be responsible for creating stable, scalable code in a secure multi-tenant SaaS environment and participating in sprint planning and organizing deliverables.
• The position requires developing a deep understanding of the ForceMetrics platform and its applications in addressing public safety and societal issues.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in software development.
• A strong desire to collaborate with others and a willingness to learn and challenge oneself are essential.
• Proficiency in Javascript and Python is required, along with the ability to communicate technical topics clearly and concisely.
• Experience with CSS, Bootstrap, Tailwind, or Material Design is necessary, as well as experience in building single-page web applications using Javascript libraries like React, Next.js, or Vue.js.
• The ability to work with cross-functional teams, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders, is important.
• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card Holder status is required, along with the ability to pass an FBI background check due to the sensitive nature of the data handled.
