Description:

Metalab is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join their engineering team remotely, with candidates located within CST to BRT time zones being preferred.
The role involves collaborating closely with project teams to develop new features and functionality for products across both frontend and backend technologies.
Responsibilities include refining the product backlog with the Product Management team, providing feedback on designs, and planning future sprints.
The developer will advocate for ongoing sprint goals, review team members' code submissions, and participate in regular updates with client stakeholders.
The position requires producing documentation on methods and technical approaches to enhance the developer experience and offering support to team members facing technical challenges.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of Full Stack experience with expertise in Node.js and Python.
A deep appreciation of design practices is necessary, along with the ability to protect design integrity.
The ideal candidate should respond positively to feedback and adapt to changing priorities in fast-paced projects.
Candidates should be organized, self-motivated, and comfortable advocating for their needs and the project's needs.
Experience in building full-stack applications using modern Typescript frameworks such as React, React Native, and Nest is required.
Candidates must have experience creating REST and GraphQL APIs for data management with various databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.
A willingness to learn new technologies and contribute to technical design discussions is essential.
Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and participation in standups and ceremonies is expected.
