Remote Senior Full Stack Developer - NBI (AI and Payments)

• Now Book It is hiring a highly skilled, experienced, and dynamic Senior Full Stack Developer – (AI and Payments) to join their rapidly growing hospitality reservation platform business in Australia.
• The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining software products as a key member of the software development department.
• The position requires at least 10+ years of experience in Software Development.
• The company aims to design and build the world’s most powerful hospitality platform, enhancing guest experiences and boosting revenue.
• Now Book It is a market-leading online reservation, event, and gift card system for the hospitality industry, supporting over 11,000+ venues across Australia and New Zealand.
• The role is remote, allowing the successful candidate to be based anywhere in Australia.
• Responsibilities include involvement in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), designing and building new AI and Payment solution products, and improving existing products.
• The role requires strong problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, and familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Requirements:

• At least 10+ years of experience in software development is essential.
• A minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a Full Stack Developer is required.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline is essential.
• Strong experience (intermediate - expert level) in .NET / Core using C#, Web API is required.
• Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with REST APIs and exposure to Micro Services / SOA is necessary.
• A good understanding of SOLID principles and knowledge of software development lifecycle/practices is required.
• Experience in writing Unit and Integration tests is essential.
• Familiarity with relational databases (MSSQL) is required; non-relational experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of multi-cloud platforms and CI/CD practices is a plus.
• Exposure or hands-on skills with container tech stacks is preferred.
• Proficiency in React.js or Angular.js/4+ or any other front-end framework is required.
• Strong communication skills and professionalism in a team environment are essential.
• Candidates must be passionate about hospitality and technology, and able to work in an unstructured and forward-thinking environment.
• A collaborative attitude and mentorship mindset are important for this role.
• Effective communication of technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders is required.
