Description:
Everbridge is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join their team in Hungary, with the position being remote/home-based.
The role involves building the next generation platform and contributing to a cross-functional agile development team to deliver features that help save lives.
The developer will work on an integrated physical security platform aimed at keeping people safe and ensuring operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and testing features as part of an agile team, collaborating with Engineering Managers, Product Owners, Architects, and QA Engineers.
The developer will create web and server solutions that integrate edge hardware devices into a situationally aware platform, solving various problems such as displaying geospatial data and managing access control.
The technology stack primarily focuses on .Net Core 6+ C# implementations and ReactJS micro-frontends using ES6+ Typescript.
Continuous integration practices are in place, utilizing Gitlab for unit testing, selenium-based GUI testing, and static analysis.
Requirements:
A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
Candidates should have at least 5-6 years of experience as a professional software engineer, either in commercial or open-source projects.
Proficiency in Microsoft .Net Core 6+ is essential.
A good understanding of web technologies (HTML5/CSS3) and experience with a leading JavaScript framework, ideally ReactJS, is necessary.
Experience with micro-services and Restful APIs (e.g., OpenAPI) is required.
Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is expected.
A range of software development and delivery experience is important.
Candidates should be eager to own feature work and be involved in the details across a feature’s lifecycle.
Experience in large code-base products or enterprise-grade software is preferred.
